Start popping that corn… it’s summer, and Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group have a new animated special just around the corner; set shortly after the events of ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,’ the latest entry in the popular branded cross-saga storytelling hits the streamer August 5.
Director Greg Franklin discusses the Kool-Aid man, awkward pauses, and the dizzying array of styles he employed on the first fully animated stand-up special, hitting HBO July 24.

Animated adventure premieres on Life Day, November 17, exclusively on Disney +; returning cast includes fan favorites: Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico; Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian; and Anthony Daniels as C-3PO.
Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids will also join adventure to the Wookiee homeworld in Lucasfilm show set for November 17.
