I thought that maybe we could all post some Holiday pics in this thread! I'll start it off with a pic of A Christmas Story! I look forward to seeing everyone's work! Cheers

How many Xmas threads do we need?
This is the 3rd one so far.
Are three Xmas threads in an animation forum too many or too few?
And where are all the Hanukkah threads? Are Christians the only ones who are interested in animation? Maybe Disney head Eisner (Jew) and Dreamworks animation head Katzenberg (Jew) should start a Hanukkuh animation thread. :p
I haven't been around much, so I never noticed the other threads. Maybe one of the mods could put them all together? Love the Hanukkah idea! Cheers

Harvey there's nothing stopping anyone from openning a new thread. Let's see some Kwanzaa threads. But who's counting. I don't see a lot of folks feeling like they can open up anymore...it's like you have to meet some sort of criteria. And as for Christmas a lot of us out here are just reaching out at a time when friends and family are important. Why not flack some of the folks that post the same "what school to go to" threads all the time...who's keeping track of them. Merry Christmas all, and don't be afraid to post. I for one would like to see a little more conversation going on.

With all the Indians that visit this forum, it would be refreshing to see some Hindu holiday threads, although I've seen the mods pull a religious thread before and I'm not sure where they draw the line. (The thread I'm thinking of is one in which a Muslim woman listed the benefits of Islam toward women.) I guess the line is drawn between religious holidays and non-holiday-related religious philosophy. Go figure. I'd hate to think that the line was being drawn between Christian holidays and non-Christian religious holidays.
I've never seen a thread closed here except for spam. And I've been involved in some really heated discussions. So I think if anyone of any religion wants to wish someone a good life or whatever, I think it would pass muster here Harvey. So come everyone whatever religion this is the place to voice your wishes for the new year and towards your fellow animators.

On second glance, I notice the woman in the burka in Dan's drawing. :p
Love the Greeting phacker! I'll have a couple of those "spirits" for sure this holiday season! Cheers
