Nice! Your stuff looks great! I like the pencil tests the most. Keep up the good work. :D
that's righteous.
great character animation.
what do you use to make the light and glow effects?
your film is a great visual depiction of the mystic idea that to conquer something, you have to let go. your experience in martial arts (i read your resume) really helps the dance movements of your character. great job on the whole thing. it's cool to see a completed student film - very professional looking. it also has great direction & camera movements. you asked for critique, so i'll add one more thing. i'd like to see continued movement when the character pauses between movements, even if it was a short cycle of frames until he moves again. i think it looks a little abrupt when he just stops & starts up again. maybe something to think about for the next film. it doesn't diminish your overall great film, though.

Great animation and nice website!
wow... I'm a fan of rough 2d animation and I love the art direction of your film. Nice colors, too.
hi guys,
Thanks for taking the time out to watch my film! And thanks for the comments. :)
BROKEN BOY BLUE: thanks! :D
tehfuzzbomb: cheers! the glow effects were just coloured layers in aftereffects set mainly to 'add' and sometimes 'colour dodge' in the transfer mode.
uncle phil: thanks for your comments! yes I agree totally, the movements do end abruptly. I will keep that in mind for my next project. The great thing about doing any piece of work is that you always learn something new and improve your skills in the process!
O-Dawg: Thank you!
Kenneth :)
