sneak cycle reference please

Hey guys i'd greatly apreciate some good references for a sneak cycle, its pretty tough goin. :D thanks :D

videoclip on the net

never tried it... but whenever i have a problem like that i just find a video on the internet and study it. try to even download a video of a snake moving and rotoscope the basic movement. that will help you understand how the snake moves to be able to animate it yourself.

There are also sneaks in Richard Williams' 'Animator's Survival Kit' if you have it.

Jason Ryan also has a video sneak tutorial on his 'Ramp Up' section of his site, look for the 'the sneak' : http://www.jrawebinar.com/ If you haven't checked out his site for his training material/monthly webinar/ or free Ramp Up's you're missing out.

Here's the one I did from it using LightWave 3D (i haven't animated the face yet): http://www.genesis1studios.com/animation_ex/Larry_Sneak_9_13_08.mov

LightWave hurrah!!!

Not to get all Stanaslavski on ya but what is the character sneaking from/to? WHat is he or she thinking? Act it out. Shoot it with your web cam. Analyse it.
There are a million ways to do everything.

hey there!
that was stupid of me- i thought you were asking about sakes instead of sneak...
but i'd still give the same advise- find a video- study it and even exaggerate the movement if you want.
