Animated Short ‘Babies of Bread’ Now Streaming on YouTube

The CG project from Chocolate Inc. follows the wild events at a small city bakery, when a thief barges in and wakes up the ‘Baby Bread’ in the refrigerator.

Chocolate Inc. has announced the short film Babies of Bread (Pan no Aka-chan), which is now streaming on YouTube.

Directed by Haruka Ichikawa, the dialogue-free CG-animated short follows a small bakery in the city. One night, bakery owner Riku kneads dough, leaves it to rest, and departs for the day. However, a thief sneaks in and attempts to steal the cash from the register. The ruckus soon wakes the cream bread dough in the fridge. Can the “Baby Bread” save the day?

The voice cast includes Kana Hanazawa, Yui Ogura, Yūto Uemura, Naomi Ōzora, and Takayuki Yamada.

Character design is by R!k!, with music by Takao Ogi. Kanta Mochida acts as CG director and animates alongside Makoto Kubota and Daiki Yamada. Animation producers are Fūko Noda and Minori Kuragami. Kayane Fujimura produces.

In other fanimation news, Chocolate Inc.’s upcoming anime KILLTUBE is scheduled for a 2026 release.
