The early learning show, which features imaginative role-playing adventures inspired by rescue scenarios, premieres exclusively on BabyTV and the BabyTV App on January 6th, 2025.
BabyTV has revealed the new early learning series Olly, which combines 3D animation and short live-action segments and incorporates early concepts such as fast and slow, or high and low.
In every episode, 3-year-old monkey Olly and his friends dive into imaginative role-playing adventures inspired by rescue scenarios. Whether acting as a firefighter, police officer, crane operator, or even an astronaut, he mirrors the way young children approach make-believe.
Series creator Kobi Paz said, “Young kids are naturally drawn to the energy and excitement of rescue scenarios. There’s something captivating about fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances that sparks their imagination. Rescue missions are clear and relatable to children, with simple goals like helping others and solving problems. We wanted to channel that enthusiasm into the safe, imaginative world of BabyTV that blends adventure with a sense of reassurance.”
UK-based Fudge Animation creates the animation under the creative direction of Dan Weaver. Assi Tal composes the soundtrack, with sound effects and mixing by Double Dot Studios. BabyTV produces.
Olly premieres exclusively on BabyTV and the BabyTV App on January 6th, 2025. Seasons 2 and 3 are already in production ahead of the show’s debut.
