Hello! um im new to this type of thing. i am 16 years old and i just want to know what classes i should be taking for animation? sorry im not good at explaining. i want to be an animator but i dont know what classes to take. ive been animating on my phone on an app called flipaclip for about a year now and i wanted to also know whats the best programs on laptop and phone for animation? sorry im not good with the whole forum stuff ^^"

if your going independent then use skill share and get a programme on your laptop like toonboom or maya. Also investing in a wacom pad is a good idea.

you're 16, you can apply for animation courses in higher education when you get to 17/18 but start looking at colledges/universitys now, I'm sure you have a careers advisor at your school you can talk to...

I think you should start with free courses, given your age. I also started with courses, then I picked a college. The disadvantage of college is those classes that are not specifically related to animation. But you can take courses, create a portfolio, find a part-time job, and maybe you'll not need a college then.
