Animation Bootcamp will be a hands on “soup to nuts” animation experience held at the picturesque, Chanco on the James Conference Center, near Williamsburg, Virginia (http://chancoonthejames.org/) and taught by veteran animator/director/educator, Larry Lauria.
Participants will learn basic to intermediate animation principles, create convincing character designs with real construction techniques,and explore staging, layouts, storyboards and directing. The final two days will be spent in the creation and animation of sequences that will test the skills of all levels. Paper, pencils and other supplies will be provided. In the evenings, the group will enjoy animated selections.
