I enjoyed both. Your concepts are clean and fresh, your background tracks appropriate. Your animation is fluid and smooth.
I couple things to consider. Looks like you are using Flash to create your work. You have a very painterly clean style. but some of the stuff is leaving behind little relics like line dots and jaggy contours. With a little more clean up your stuff could be downright poetic.

phacker, Yes, the plan was always to keep it very clean but due to lack of time I didn't get to clean it up as much as I would've liked. I also worked in a crazy kind of, unstructured way that I'll probably never do again that caused me to use up way too much time.
