So I applied to this school a few weeks ago
but some strange things are happening
after I sent them my papers, I heard nothing from them until I sent a message asking them about my acceptance.
And after that, I suddenly get an email from the school saying you're accepted with a PDF file attached (Letter of Acceptance) and they are saying that they maild a copy of the letter to me.
But I didn't give them a detailed adress and no P.O box number.
Where the hell did they mailed it ?
and they are asking me to pay a $1000 for holding my place ?
If I applied and want to study there for sure, why do I have to pay $1000 for holding my place ?
Can you trust these people ?
Have anyone else been at Vanarts ?
This is a part from the letter (PDF) they sent me

Thank you.
The best people to talk to would be Van Arts if you have questions,
I'm no rep for them, but they are an established school, so don't worry about fraud, I've talked to an alumni and my Digital Media prof. recommended them to me. I applied to them and got the exact same letter. Right now honestly the choice is yours wether or not you want to attend, you have no obligation (if you haven't paid or signed anything).
But by all means, call, e-mail, or chat with Van Arts on their website, keep in touch with em' if your serious about school. It may help straighten up that mailing issue. I had similar problem with UCLA, and getting in touch with them helped out alot.
Good Luck
Hey, you should mail your version of queries to the school and you can also get in touch with former graduates from the school. Try searching on the university website for their contacts and send them personalised mails. You'd be surprised to learn that they(alumni) reply very fast (unless they're very busy with work n stuff) :D
Well about VanArts, can't help you much with that. Got no experience. But good luck with your applications and such stuff !!!!!
Ok thanks
I contacted them and we're trying to resolve these issues
