This forum brings back old memories of me trying to get into Ringling. :)
I tried to get into Ringling a few years ago but was not accepted, probably due to the fact i didn't put enough time into my drawings.
Anyway, after i didn't get in i switched majors over to computer science since i had been building them since high school and had more of a talent for computers/information systems.
Over the last two years i have been working on various mod projects and met some talented people. Me and another developer decided to team up to create a mod now that the game "Alien Swarm" has been released from Valve for free. This means we can make a mod and distribute it to anyone free of charge without them purchasing a game. Both of us now have over 2 years of experience in c++ involving game programming.
We are both developers and the team has expanded to 7 people. We want to keep a small team (under 10 people) and we could really use two or three that have experience with animation and 3d modeling.
If you only have experience in one of the areas that is fine also!
We are a new team and wont judge harshly if you need room to improve.
Unfortunately this is a volunteer effort and we cant afford to pay anything right now. If the mod ever makes any money you would be compensated for what you put in.
