2d animation software for ereaders market and beyond

My animation software and my story quickly.

I worked with expensive 2d et 3d animation software 15 years ago, and a day my ophthalmologist should me to stop 3d, I had red eyes all the day, and I spent all my money to try to create fantastics short film as Pixar or Aardman.

years passed and my father should me to read on an Amazon Kindle a SF book and I tested the little device in black and white at the end of the day I had read the book without eyes pain, I decided to google if someone tried to connect a keyboard or link this type of devices to a computer to show other thing than a text, I wanted to compute a picture in black and white it's was 2013-2015, I found different communities on the web, and I bought different prototypes of devices, one could show 15 frames per second the Dasung PaperLikeHD 13.3 inch and an other had a stylus with a screen in 10inch and a friend fan of free apps showed me a clone of wikipedia/blogs with an area to draw on a web page, I knew the Javascript and PHP, I began to write an 2d animation software to do short the result is below :

Some features of my animation software for the ereader market  :

->layers per frame and powerfull light table with logos to pin keyframe to remember hwo to construct a plan.

-> music notes in the timeline even if the online version don't allow sounds (maybe in the futur).

->brushes (circles/rectangles), brushes by plotting pictures.

-> lines, rectangles, circles, ovales.

-> selection of an area to draw into.

-> flip on X and Y axis.

-> gold rules and perspective tools 1,2, 3 points.

-> undo, redo, copy, all the canvas, a piece and paste.

-> import photos and import them in black and white.

->textures marble/ horizontal-vertical lines/wave circles/dots.

EXPORT formats :

->png,jpeg, gif static, ppm p6, mp4 (for the moment) ont he server side I have a version of ffmpeg library to export the video.

-> project in json.

->specific feature to export a picture in 1 and 0 at text format.

Pixel art :

-> zoom pixel by pixels with a specific grid with brush and some tools are connected to this grid as lines and empty rectangle.

-> the system don't allow typography but allow a system to create a font pixels by pixels from a scan of an alphabet.

Polygon 2d engine :

-> points, lines, n-gones faces can be transformed in pixels.

-> bezier curves

Render engine in colors :

it's a 2d engine on the server side and with a screen shot engine on client side (your webrowser).

-> change black to a color per layer.

-> fill an area with seeds, color seeds can be controlled by keyframes in the time line.

FX :

-> for the moment blur and 2d volumetric light need to be rewriten,

to tell it's stable and efficient but there is a protype tool implemented.

-> gradient vertical and horizotnal work well, from point to fill an area.

-> import painted background the prototype tool work but not yet for a full time line.

Graphic user interface (GUI)

-> can be changed by clicking on top left icon the GUI is in 2 colors pixelated for gray scale Eink panel used by ereaders.

API

-> it's possible to write script in JS language, contact me for more information about that.

Warning :

on my animation software open beta  :

-> you need a recent web-browser with Javascript activated.

I wish beta-testers, and I try to promote my project on the web.

It's in development since 2018, the manual is at the bottom of the software.

The software not do : vectors and 3d, and it's not a video editor, 2K pixels pictures are possible, I implemented more size recently but some one of the 10k pixels explode my computer avoid biggest size !

The software was wroten on a computer even if I re-writen the code many time to use less and less ram on little devices 7 and 10 inch ereaders, I am not sure it can run because lack of ram and the processor is different from Intel processor for PCs.
