‘Alien TV’ Season 2 Touches Down March 19 on Netflix

The popular series, a co-production of eOne and POP Family, follows the comic misadventures of an extra-terrestrial television news crew as they try to understand Earth; hybrid production combines real world imagery with CGI.

Season 2 of the popular animated hybrid series, Alien TV (26x30) will premiere on Netflix globally on March 19. The series, a co-production of eOne and POP Family Entertainment in collaboration with Netflix, combines real world imagery with high-end CGI; show follows the slapstick misadventures of an extra-terrestrial television news crew as they try to understand the wild, baffling and sometimes “just-plain-weird” life on a newly discovered planet called… Earth.

eOne serves as the series’ Canadian producer; POP Family Entertainment serves as the Australian producer. The project will be released globally on Netflix.  The Nine Network commissioned the series in Australia, produced with financial support of Create NSW, in addition to financial assistance from Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the Ontario Production Service Tax Credit.
