Aqua Teen Hunger Force Serves Up Second Season

AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE, the animated comedy about three human-sized food products that live together in a rental house in New Jersey, returned to ADULT SWIM on August 31, 2003 with a new season of peculiar adventures at 11:45 pm.

Master Shake (Dana Snyder), the self-appointed team leader, has a big mouth, a short attention span and no work ethic. Frylock (Carey Means), the only reasonable member of the group, is a box of french-fried potatoes with mystical powers. Meatwad (Dave Willis), a round mound of meat, completes the squad. At any given moment, Meatwad can take the shape of a hot dog or an igloo. Sometimes they solve crimes. More often, they bicker and hang out in their neighbor Carl's (also voiced by Willis) aboveground swimming pool.

The series was created and is written/produced by Matt Maellaro and Dave Willis. Jay Edwards also serves as exec producer and is an editor along with Ned Hastings and John Brestan. Original music is by Schoolly D. Animation is done by Big Deal Cartoons, Radical Axis and Wild Hare Studios. Line producer is Vishal Roney.

ADULT SWIM, airing Sunday-Thursday from 11:00 pm-2:00 am, is #1 in its time period on all of ad-supported basic cable with adults 18-24. Cartoon Network (CartoonNetwork.com), since its launch in 1992, has remained one of ad-supported cable's highest-rated networks.
