Warner Bros. to present the world premiere of Bugs Bunny at the Symphony at The Hollywood Bowl at 8:00pm on Friday, July 5, and Saturday July 6.
This holiday weekend, Warner Bros. will present the world premiere of Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II at the Hollywood Bowl at 8:00pm on Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6, featuring the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by Emmy Award-winning creator and conductor George Daugherty.
The orchestra will perform original scores by Carl W. Stalling, Milt Franklyn and Scott Bradley based on works by Wagner, Rossini, von Suppé, J. Strauss II, Smetana, and Liszt, while iconic Warner Bros. Looney Tunes are displayed on the Hollywood Bowl’s brilliant new LED screens. This brand-new edition of the concert features Warner Bros.’ most celebrated animated characters, including Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Tweety, Sylvester, and others. Classic cartoons such as What’s Opera, Doc? The Rabbit of Seville, and Duck Amuck will be screened, as well as two sensational new 3D theatrical animated shorts I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat and Coyote Falls (both with scores by Christopher Lennertz), plus a special appearance by “Tom and Jerry in the Hollywood Bowl!”
