Writers/directors get development time, support, and mentorship to work on graphic development of feature-length animated films, living and working in Annecy April 4 - June 30, 2022; the submission deadline is September 10, 2021.
The Annecy International Animation Film Festival has announced a call for entries for the next Annecy Festival Residence taking place from April 4 - June 30, 2022. The program is for writers/directors who wish to work on the graphic development of their film – the program is aimed at feature-length animation films only. Three new projects will be selected for the program. Applications are open until September 10, 2021.
Selected residents will be invited to Annecy for three months and provided a script mentorship beforehand and graphic development mentorship on site. The program gives artists time to explore and experiment - to feed and grow their project visually and to report on their progress at a pitch during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
