San Francisco, CA -- The Cartoon Art Museum hosts artist Sarah Clark on Saturday September 21, 2013 from 1pm to 3pm as a part of its on going Cartoon-in-Residence program.  Museum visitors will be offered the chance to talk to Sarah, view and discuss her work. This event is free and open to the public.

Sarah Clark is an illustrator and animator currently living and working in Oakland, CA. She earned her BA from Hampshire College in 2008 where she created a six-minute traditionally animated thesis film, Drawn Conclusion. Her work spans all types of media from digital illustration to paper sculpture to fabricated goods, but always maintains an emphasis on creating compelling characters and stories. Her work has been shown at the Light Grey Art Lab in Minneapolis, MN and at the Compound Gallery in Oakland, CA.

She is currently working on a project called Season Ticket Diaries. It is an on going journal comic project in which she documents the different stories she experienced as an Oakland A's fan this year.
