Cartoon Network, Boomerang to Bring Mattel Lineup to Latin America

Turner’s premier kids channels to air more than 800 minutes of Mattel content including movies, features and short-form content for Barbie, Monster High, Hot Wheels and Max Steel across Latin America.

‘Barbie: Princess Power’ New York, NY -- Mattel, the worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of toys and family products, and Turner Broadcasting System, announced that Turner’s Cartoon Network and Boomerang will air more than 800 minutes of new Mattel content featuring Mattel’s premiere brands Barbie, Hot Wheels, Monster High, and Max Steel in Latin America.  The Mattel programming will be available in a variety of formats including movies, features, and webisodes. 

Beginning March 2015, broadcast and online programming for popular Mattel brands including Barbie, Monster High, Team Hot Wheels, and Max Steel will be broadcast on Cartoon Network and Boomerang Latin America in Spanish and in Portuguese in Brazil.

  • Monster High: Haunted
  • Boo York, Boo York

Hot Wheels, the #1 boys’ vehicle brand in the world, speeds into new adventures with two new thrilling CG-animated specials full of outrageous fun:

  • Team Hot Wheels: Skill to Thrill
  • Team Hot Wheels: Build the Epic Race

Popular and growing series Max Steel is turbo-charged with three new 44-minute CG-animated movies:

  • The Wrath of Makino
  • The Dawn of Morphos
  • Maximum Morphos
