CG Lighting Panel & Technology Presentation to be held at Gnomon

The Los Angeles Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH and the Gnomon School of Visual Effects present "CG Lighting Panel and Technology Presentation," sponsored by The Foundry, on Thursday, February 16.

Los Angeles, California -- The Los Angeles Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH and the Gnomon School of Visual Effects present "CG Lighting Panel and Technology Presentation," sponsored by The Foundry, on Thursday, February 16.  Industry luminaries will present the latest in ground-breaking CG lighting as realized by Look Effects, Sony Pictures Imageworks and Walt Disney Animation Studios. The evening will conclude with a technology showcase of KATANA by The Foundry.

The opening panel discussion will be moderated by Rob Bredow, CTO of Sony Pictures Imageworks. Panelists include Josh Mossotti of Look Effects; Kevin Souls of Sony Picture Imageworks; and Alessandro Jacomini of Walt Disney Animation Studios. Andy Lomas from The Foundry will demonstrate the workflow in KATANA.
