'Clone Wars' Nabs Top Daytime Emmy Award

Star Wars: The Clone Wars receives the coveted Outstanding Special Class Animated Program award at the Daytime Emmys.

Polygon Pictures announced that the television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Transformers Prime, both with CG animation produced by the studio, have received a total of 5 awards at the 40th Annual Daytime Emmys, includingOutstanding Special Class Animated Program.

The Emmys, known as the "Academy Awards" of television, are one of the most prestigious honors in the industry. One of the major categories awarded at the Daytime Emmys is the prize for Outstanding Special Class Animated Program, which previously was awarded to Transformers Prime. This year, the coveted honor belongs to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. PPI is proud to have been a part of the team behind such award-winning series for two years running.
