Darth Maul makes his highly anticipated return in the final two episodes of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” season four.
Press release from Teletoon:
Toronto, ON – Everyone thought he was dead. But in the final two episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars season four, it will be revealed that Darth Maul (Sam Witwer) is very much alive. Making his highly anticipated return in the episode airing on Friday, March 9 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, Darth Maul also features prominently in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars season four finale on Friday, March 16 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Thought to be long gone, the former Sith apprentice Darth Maul has returned. Maul, a broken shell of a man, is restored with the help of Savage Opress and Mother Talzin to wreak havoc on the galaxy once more. Voicing the character of Darth Maul is Sam Witwer, best known for his work as the vampire Aidan on Being Human. Witwer is no stranger to Star Wars, having played the role of Starkiller in the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game as well as doing extensive voice work on previous seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. A favourite in the science-fiction world, he has also played memorable roles in Battlestar Galactica and Smallville and made guest appearances on shows including Bones, Cold Case and ER.
Leading up to the finale, fans can get an extra dose of the Force on March 16 when TELETOON airs the hilarious LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, followed by a mini-marathon of the final four episodes of the season starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
