‘DC League of Super-Pets’ Now Available on Digital

From Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, the 3D CGI animated feature is now available for premium digital ownership; 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD releases set for this October.

From Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, the 3D CGI animated feature DC League of Super-Pets is now available for premium digital ownership. Directed by Jared Stern (The LEGO Batman Movie) and Sam Levine (Wreck-It Ralph), the story focuses on Krypto, the Super-Dog of his best friend and owner, Superman, who spends his days side-by-side on crime-fighting missions in Metropolis with the famous Justice League hero. The film comes to 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD beginning on October 4.

In the movie, after Superman is kidnapped, Krypto must master his own powers for a rescue mission. The Super-Dog assembles a team of shelter pets endowed with superpowers: a hound named Ace with super-strength, a pig named PB who can grow to giant-size, a turtle named Merton with super-speed, and a squirrel named Chip who has gained powers of electricity.

The film features the voices of Kevin Hart (Jumanji, Secret Life of Pets); Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live, Magic School Bus Rides Again); John Krasinski (Quiet Place films, Free Guy); Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live, Office Christmas Party); Natasha Lyonne (Show Dogs, Ballmastrz 9009); Diego Luna (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Maya and the Three); Marc Maron (Joker, GLOW); Thomas Middleditch (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie); Ben Schwartz (Sonic the Hedgehog, Duck Tales); and Keanu Reeves (Matrix, John Wick).
