Following last month’s announcement of upcoming release dates for its animated feature slate, Disney has announced a number of updates for the studio’s live-action projects.
Six features have been given new dates, including two untitled Marvel films in what is becoming the franchise’s traditional May release window. Also new – and animated rather than live-action – is Planes: Fire And Rescue (July 18, 2014), a sequel to Planes, the Cars-in-the-air DisneyToons animated movie that opens August 9; Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (October 10, 2014) starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner; and Rob Marshall’s Into The Woods(December 25, 2014). The Muppets sequel already dated for March 21, 2014 is now called Muppets Most Wanted.
