Coinciding with Disney+’s release of ‘The Eternals,’ the 7-issue series kicked off yesterday on the Marvel digital comic platform; release on WEBTOON set for January 20.
Marvel Entertainment’s digital comic platform Marvel Unlimited has launched “Eternals: The 500 Year War.” Coinciding with the release of The Eternals on Disney+, the 7-issue series hit the platform January 12. It will be followed by a January 20 launch on WEBTOON, the world’s largest digital comics platform.
The Infinity Comic series spotlights the Eternals in their past encounters during the 500 Year War against Deviants. Fans will see the Eternals interact with different human cultures across time through the cultural artifacts that were gifted to them.
Each issue features an international creative team of writers and artists from the respective country that the story is being told in. The rotating creative line-up includes writers Dan Abnett; Aki Yanagi; Jongmin Shin; Ju-Yeon Park; David Macho; Rafael Scavone; and Yifan Jiang; and artists Geoffo; Rickie Yagawa; Do Gyun Kim; Magda Price; Marcio Fiorito; and Gunji. Art will be colored by Matt Milla; Carlos Macias; Fernando Sifuentes; Pete Pantazis; and Felipe Sobreiro.
