Exclusive: Augenblick Studios Shares 25th Anniversary Showreel

The Brooklyn-based animation studio looks back at its 2 ½ decade ‘Wild Ride’ across a diverse path of projects, from Adult Swim’s ‘Teenage Euthanasia’ and ‘Superjail!’ to PBS Kids’ ‘City Island,’ each infused with the company’s unique brand of humor.

Brooklyn-based Augenblick Studios has just shared with AWN their new 25th Anniversary Showreel that looks back on 2 ½ decades of animation production, highlighting some of the company’s most creative and funny projects.  

A leading independent animation company renowned for its unique brand of cartoon comedy and wide variety of entertainment creation across film, television, and the internet, the studio has produced such notable shows as City Island (PBS KIDS), Teenage Euthanasia (Adult Swim), Headspace (Netflix), Losers (Netflix), The Jellies (Adult Swim), Ugly Americans (Comedy Central), Superjail! (Adult Swim), and Wonder Showzen (MTV).

The studios' independent cartoons have appeared at film festivals worldwide; its short film Golden Age was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival and won the grand prize for best film at the Ottawa International Animation Festival.

Simply put, studio founder Aaron Augenblick says, “It’s been a wild ride!”
