Exclusive Clip: Order in the Court of ‘Judge Annie’ on ‘Duncanville’

From this Sunday’s episode on FOX, Amy Poehler’s Annie dons the judge’s robes as Wiz Khalifa’s Mr. Mitch sues a hardware store for a faulty ladder.

Our friends over at FOX have just sent us an exclusive clip from “Judge Annie,” this Sunday’s all-new episode of Duncanville. FOX’s Sunday Animation Domination block hit reunites Parks and Recreation alums Amy Poehler, Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully in a series about a completely average 15-year-old boy, Duncan (voiced by Poehler), who’s nothing short of amazing… inside his own fantasy life. In addition to Poehler, the cast also includes Ty Burrell (Jack), Riki Lindhome (Kimberly), Joy Osmanski (Jing), Betsy Sodaro (Bex), Yassir Lester (Yangzi) and Zach Cherry (Wolf), as well as guest stars Rashida Jones (Mia) and Wiz Khalifa (Mr. Mitch). Earlier this month, FOX announced a Season 2 pickup for the show, which will air during the 2021-2022 season.

In the new “Judge Annie” episode, when their local swimming pool is overcrowded due to a heatwave, Annie and Jack share their old swimming spot with the kids. Everything is awesome, until a rich resident buys the land, drains the swimming hole and takes the kids to court for trespassing. Then, Annie’s court confrontation with the rich resident leads to her getting her own public access court show. And, Mr. Mitch sues a hardware store for a faulty ladder. Judy Sheindlin, aka Judge Judy, guest stars. The all-new episode airs Sunday, April 26 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (DUN-108) (TV-14 L, V).

Duncanville is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Universal Television and FOX Entertainment. Mike Scully, Julie Scully and Poehler co-created and executive-produce the series with executive producer Dave Becky. The series is animated by Bento Box Entertainment.
