A film adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s children’s book The Christmas Pig is in the early stages of development, although it is not clear whether it will be animated or live action, according to Variety. The project does not currently have a production company attached.

Best known for her Harry Potter novels, Rowling also penned the Cormoran Strike series under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, which was adapted for television in 2017. The televised series is produced by Rowling’s production company Bronte. No word yet on if Bronte will produce the upcoming Christmas Pig film.
