Press Release from Framestore
Framestore’s busy commercials production department is expanding, taking on two new producers: Bumble Davis (formerly head of production at Golden Square) and James Alexander (hailing from Envy).
Davis is an incredibly experienced talent when it comes to advertising production, having worked as an agency producer at RKCR/Y&R and FCB; experience which was followed by five-years at The Mill before freelancing for leading London VFX houses. She has worked with top film and commercials directors like Duncan Jones and Tom Hooper.
Alexander will take on the role of CG line producer. He joins from Envy where he was the producer in charge of CG in addition to being the company’s only VFX-specific producer. His credits include high-profile campaigns for O2, Ford, BBC and Channel 4, plus stereoscopic productions for Samsung and Discovery Channel. He has also been involved in feature production for the likes of Horrid Henry. Prior to joining Envy, Alexander worked his way up through the ranks of runner, dispatch, traffic and scheduling at The Mill.
Framestore’s managing director, Helen Stanley, said: “The addition of not just one but two strong producers sets us up well for 2012 which is looking busy thanks to the buzz around the Olympics and Euro 2012. Bumble is incredibly experienced and already knows most of the Framestore family. James is also an immense talent and is proving himself to be a real asset to the CG team.”
Framestore’s head of production, commercials, Helen Hughes, said: “The arrival of two new producers really enhances our already strong production team and pipeline. Bumble is bringing in a raft of quality clients and, as a popular and regular face on the VFX scene, she has fast become a well-loved member of the production team. James’ role as CG line producer will help smooth the overall CG process by giving him scope to focus on key CG areas like shot and asset tracking.”
