Gallery Nucleus to Present the Art of Google Spotlight Stories

Art exhibition & book launch spotlighting the creative forces behind Google Spotlight Stories to be held Saturday, April 7.

Gallery Nucleus is teaming up with Google to present an art exhibition & book launch spotlighting the creative forces behind Google Spotlight Stories, the experimental unit of Google ATAP that explores immersive and interactive 360 storytelling.

The exhibition with include never before seen concept art and development materials on display, delving into how the films were made and the inspiration behind them, as well as the opportunity to try a few of the Google Spotlight Stories in VR.

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 7 from 7:00PM to 10:00PM. The event is free and open to the public, with a very limited quantity of books available for signing by the Google Spotlight Stories creators. Refreshments will be served.

Google Spotlight Stories films to be featured include Jan Pinkava’s Windy Day, Mark Oftedal’s Buggy Night, Glen Keane’s Duet, Aardman’s Special Delivery, Shannon Tindle’s On Ice, Patrick Osborne’s Pearl, Felix Massie’s Rain or Shine, Chromosphere’s Sonaria and Jorge Gutierrez’s Son of Jaguar.
