Mandeville Films and Top Cow Productions are developing a feature film based on the comic book "Alibi," reports Variety.
The 2008 publication involves a suave socialite whose stature allows for the perfect alibi. His ribbon-cutting stance distracts from a secret twin brother employed as a government agent.
"Alibi," created by Top Cow president Matt Hawkins with Michael Renegar, was written by Joshua Hale Fialkov (Illustrations by Jeremy Haun).
Top Cow’s film/TV adaptation(s) include: WANTED, starring Angelina Jolie, making $340M worldwide and the cult-hit, WITCHBLADE, a TNT series.
Mandeville's sci-fi thriller SURROGATES, starring Bruce Willis, opens in theaters September 29.
