The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) Educational Foundation is hosting its annual Student Video & Film Production Awards. Winners will be rewarded with cash prizes and complementary registrations for the 2007 NATPE Conference & Exhibition.
The Student Video & Film Production Awards acknowledge outstanding short student productions and are evaluated based on concept, execution and creativity. Open to any full-time, matriculated undergraduate college/university student, entries must relate to the applicants school and may be created in any of the following forms: commercials, public service announcements, human interest stories, biographies, interviews, cultural events and profiles of recognizable individuals. The fiction or non-fiction submissions may not exceed two minutes. Applicants can download the entry form from NATPEs website at www.natpe.org. All entries must be postmarked by May 1, 2006.
The First Place winner will be awarded $3,000, along with a complementary registration to the NATPE 2007 Conference & Exhibition held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Additionally, the participants school will be given a matching $3,000 and a NATPE Faculty Fellowship for the winners instructor. A cash prize of $1,000 will each be awarded to the Second Place winner and school, as well as a complementary registration to next years NATPE Conference & Exhibition.
