The hugely popular DOTA: Dragon’s Blood returns to NETFLIX with Book 3 on August 11. The fantasy anime series is based on Valve’s popular DOTA 2 video-game franchise. The multiplayer online battle arena, or ‘MOBA’ game, is one of the most popular of its kind, rivaling Heroes of Newerth, League of Legends, and Legends of the Storm.
In Book 3, a conflicted yet courageous Dragon Knight must use the dragon's power to stop a deadly demon. Now is the time! The time has come for brave warriors to conquer an unbeatable foe. But can the ultimate sacrifice bring lasting peace — to all possible worlds?
Ashley Edward Miller (X-Men: First Class, Thor and Black Sails) serves as showrunner, with Miller and Ryu Ki Hyun serving as executive producers. Animation is by Studio MIR (The Legend of Korra and Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender) In collaboration with VALVE.
