Netflix Teases ‘Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp’

Streaming April 12, the live-action/animated hybrid film sees the modern iteration of the legendary character, created by Walter Lantz, find what he thinks will be his forever home at Camp Woo Hoo. 

Netflix has released a trailer for its upcoming live-action/animated hybrid, Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp, based on the character “Woody Woodpecker” created by Walter Lantz. In the film, after getting kicked out of the forest, Woody thinks he's found a forever home at Camp Woo Hoo — until an inspector threatens to shut down the camp.

The movie features the voices of Kevin Michael Richardson as 'Buzz Buzzard,’ Tom Kenny as 'Wally Walrus,' and Eric Bauza as 'Woody Woodpecker,' and stars Chloe De Los Santos, Josh Lawson, Mary-Louise Parker, Esther Son, Evan Stanhope, George Holahan-Cantwell, Kershawn Theodore, Savannah La Rain, CC Dewar, Kushinka Jayewardene, Patrick Williams, Ras-Samuel Welda'abzgi, and Will Parker.

Jon Rosenbaum serves as director and executive producer, with Jon Kuyper producing. The screenplay is by Cory Edwards, Jim Martin, and Stephen Mazur, based on a story by Mazur and Edwards. Universal 1440 Entertainment produces.
