New teaser provides a closer look at Benedict Cumberbatch in his role as Dr. Stephen Strange, the next Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel Universe.
The brand-new teaser trailer for Marvel’s Doctor Strange debuted Tuesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and has now made its way online for viewing on the web.
The new teaser provides a closer look at Benedict Cumberbatch in his role as Dr. Stephen Strange, the next Sorcerer Supreme. After being crippled in an accident, talented neurosurgeon Stephen Strange goes on a quest to find a way to repair his mangled hands. He eventually meets the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) and her student Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and soon goes on a journey to master the mystic arts.
Directed by Scott Derrickson, the visual effects for Dr. Strange are provided by VFX powerhouses Framestore and Industrial Light & Magic under the supervision of VFX supervisors Richard Bluff and Mark Bakowski.
Marvel’s Doctor Strange arrives in theaters on November 4, 2016.
