Two best friends find out they’re not alone in a remote lake house during the pandemic in the streamer’s new original horror film, coming next Friday.
Quarantine may be over for us, but the pandemic is still raging in SICK, a new Peacock original film from elite horror studio Blumhouse and Miramax.
As the pandemic steadily brings the world to a halt, Parker and her best friend Miri decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone—or so they think. SICK stars Gideon Adlon (Blockers, The Craft: Legacy), Bethlehem Million (And Just Like That), Marc Menchaca (The Outsider, Ozark) and Jane Adams (Twin Peaks, Poltergeist, Hacks).
The thrilling feature is directed by John Hyams (Alone), and written by Kevin Williamson (Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer) and Katelyn Crabb. Williamson, Bill Block, and Ben Fast serve as producers. Still waiting to hear on the film’s VFX production… sigh.
SICK premieres on Peacock next Friday, January 13.
