Jerry Pooler has been appointed creative director and Brad Reinke manager of the Cinesite Hollywood Digital Restoration division. "Jerry Pooler and Brad Reinke are a great team," says Ruth Scovill, president and COO of Cinesite Hollywood. "They are leading an ambitious effort to leverage the most advanced digital technology to help our customers faithfully restore priceless films in their libraries to their original condition." Pooler has been a visual effects and restoration supervisor at Cinesite since 1992. He oversaw the groundbreaking work that Cinesite did on the restoration of SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS that year. Pooler has subsequently supervised restoration projects for SLEEPING BEAUTY, FANTASIA 2000 and THE LAST DAYS. His visual effects supervisor credits include THE 6TH DAY, DEEP BLUE SEA and TITANIC. Prior to joining Cinesite, Pooler worked in the optical department at CFI Labs. Brad Reinke joined Cinesite in November 1999 as recruiting manager. Prior to that he owned and managed a placement agency for digital artists. Reinke studied film and art at the University of Wisconsin and worked for PDI, DreamWorks, Digital Domain and Rhythm and Hues in various roles.
