SIGGRAPH's VR Theater Open for Submissions

Deadline to enter is April 3; annual event is set for Aug. 12-16 in Vancouver.

Submissions for the SIGGRAPH 2018 Computer Animation Festival VR Theater are open. SIGGRAPH 2018 will be held Aug. 12-16 in Vancouver, Canada.

For the second year in a row, the festival is offering a venue to showcase virtual-reality storytelling.

The entries should have a maximum length of six minutes, and the Computer Animation Festival reserves the right to show only excerpts of selected works at the jury’s discretion.

If you are unable to meet the six-minute requirement, you may contact the Computer Animation Festival subcommittee and explain your circumstances.

Submissions should works on a VR-ready PC and run in HTC Vive or Oculus Rift.
