Michael Bay is set to produce and is eyeing the project for directing as well. BenderSpink's Chris Bender and JC Spink are the executive producers.
Published by HarperCollins Children's Books, the novel follows nine aliens who disguise themselves as teenagers to hide out on Earth after their planet is obliterated.
DreamWorks co-presidents Holly Bario and Mark Sourian are overseeing the project.
