'South Park' Returns with 17th Season

South Park returns to Comedy Central for a 17th season on September 25.

New York, NY -- South Park returns for its 17th season with ten all-new episodes beginning on Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central

On Tuesday, September 24, South Park: The Complete Sixteenth Season will be released on Blu-ray and DVD by Comedy Central Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution.  All fourteen episodes from South Park’s sixteenth season are now available in this exclusive three-disc DVD set (two-disc Blu-ray), including the Emmy-nominated episode “Raising the Bar.” 

The Blu-ray and DVD feature mini-commentaries on all episodes by the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone.  Also included are never-before-seen deleted scenes.

The all-new episodes from this season are available in HD exclusively on XBOX Live, iTunes, Sony Entertainment Network, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, and Samsung Media Hub.  Episodes are also available on SouthParkStudios.com.

Named One of the All-Time Greatest TV Shows by Entertainment Weekly, Comedy Central's South Park launched on August 13, 1997.  The series airs Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. and repeats later that night at midnight (all times ET/PT).

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the co-creators of South Park.  Parker, Stone, Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II are the Executive Producers of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning South Park.  Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bill Hader, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are Producers.
