Splash Entertainment’s ‘Sabrina’ Flies to Lionsgate

Splash Entertainment’s hit animated series Sabrina, Secrets of a Teenage Witch flies her broom to Lionsgate with home entertainment deal for U.S., U.K. and Canada.

Splash Entertainment has just concluded a home entertainment deal with Lionsgate for its CGI animated series Sabrina, Secrets Of A Teenage Witch, based on the iconic Archie Comics character. Lionsgate will distribute the hit series with 26 half hours in the U.S., U.K. and Canada and is expected to release the first volume of the Sabrina series by mid-September 2014 in time for Halloween.  Sabrina, Secrets of a Teenage Witch is a co-production of Splash Entertainment, Archie Comics Publications, DSK Entertainment LLC , Telegael and Laughing Lion.

Sabrina is an iconic character part of the Archie Comics storyline. The animated series follows Sabrina, a half-witch and half-human, and all super hero who leads two vastly different lives; one disguised as a normal, klutzy high school student and the other as the top sorcery student in the magical world.  When her two worlds collide, Sabrina is the only one who has the power to battle her foes, while managing to keep her magical identity a secret from humankind. Ashley Tisdale voices Sabrina for the U.S. and English speaking territories. The series currently airs in the U.S. on the Hub Network, as well as 17 Disney Channels worldwide.
