Splash Lands at MIPCOM with ‘G.U.N.K. Aliens’

Splash Entertainment heads to MIPCOM with G.U.N.K. Aliens, an all-new animated series produced in partnership with Foothill Entertainment.

Los Angeles, CA – Mike Young, Co-CEO of the recently launched Splash Entertainment, announced that the company is heading to this year’s MIPCOM with an all-new 26 x 30’ animated comedy series G.U.N.K. Aliens. Produced in partnership with Foothill Entertainment, and its London based affiliate Foothill Europe, G.U.N.K. Aliens is based on the best-selling children’s books of the same name from HarperCollins.

G.U.N.K. Aliens finds Jack, his robotic dog Snivel and his pals, Oscar and Ruby, working for a top secret (but wacky) alien-fighting organization called C.L.E.A.N. They are the only thing standing between Earth and the G.U.N.K. Aliens: a disgusting band of extra-terrestrials committed to an all-out toxic invasion of Earth. It is up to Jack and his friends to root out these gross and smelly liens before they can do some real damage

“Kids fighting messy aliens is a great set up for comedy and this irreverent series is the epitome of fun for kids,” commented Young.  “We are delighted to be partnering with Foothill Entertainment and look forward to offering this series to our international broadcasters around the world for the first time at MIPCOM.”

“We have been amazed at the speed with which Splash Entertainment has dived into the production planning since coming on board the project a few short months ago,” said Foothill President Jo Kavanagh-Payne. “The team understands the co-production environment better than almost anyone and have been a joy to work with.”
