LAAF Returns to Hollywood December 10-11

The event offers a full weekend of programs featuring all films in competition, and an opening night party with works by and conversations with filmmakers, culminating with the LAAF Awards Ceremony.
The event, taking place in-person April 7-10 and online April 7-24, will include a behind-the-scenes look at the popular BBC and HBO series ‘His Dark Materials, a discussion with Aardman animator Carmen Bromfield Mason, and a live animation demonstration by Multi-award-winning animator Joanna Quinn.
102 animated shorts representing 22 countries have been chosen for official competition; the hybrid event takes place in person from April 7-10 in Cardiff with online events held throughout the month.
The 10th annual event, running September 23 – October 2, celebrates emerging filmmakers from around the world; animated screenings will be featured throughout the event will an all-animation matinee on September 27.
