Reg Hartt Presents The Sex And Violence Cartoon Festival

5pm Saturdays

THE BEST OF THE SEX & VIOLENCE CARTOON FESTIVAL

This program, now in in its 9th year continues to be an important part of our work. Scissor happy censors cut everything that might offend anyone from the great films of Hollywood's Golden Age of Animation. Many of the best are banned. For info on what we can't see go to http://looney.goldenagecartoons.com/ltcuts/. To see what most folks can not come to this festival. Rare 16mm prints. Program introduced by Reg Hartt.

P.S. Feel free to make requests. THE CINEFORUM has a collection of over 1,000 rare 16mm prints of the great films from Hollywood's Golden Age of Animation. One fellow who had written a book on animation history had bever seen most of the films he wrote about. When he was in Toronto we invited him to The Cineforum. We did not tell him he had gotten everything wrong.

"That is what I get for relying on second hand information," said the writer who added, "I am going to have to rewrite that book."

Researchers take note and give us a call.

P.S. We now have the Reg Hartt Animation Symposia talks with Bob Clampett, Friz Freleng, Shamus Culhane and Grim Natwick available on cd and dvd in addition to our published works of these talk. Essential for animators and animation students. Enquire.
