The Word Festival of Animated Film (WFAF) returns to Varna September 6-10, 2023, for the 19th edition. WFAF is an event for all kinds of filmmakers from around the globe, with the sole aim to showcase both the cultural and artistic significance of the Art of Animation.
Over five days the festival will host screenings of films from around the world, masterclasses of animation talents, rich exhibitions, workshops and much more. Films will compete six competitive categories and will be judged in Varna by an international jury of well-known professionals with experience in filmmaking and/or university teaching.
