So if you want to commission an artist to work up some concept artist to help pitch your story, what sort of contracts need to be in place? I was told because you pay them to create the art for you, you own the concept, no?

Is there anywhere I could find more information on this?

Why not contact a entertainment lawyer?

I mean, with legal matters like contracts and ownership rights.......do you go to a person on the street and ask them for advice? Nope, you approach a lawyer because its their job to know the laws and rights in this kind of situation.
Think about it........if you take the advice of anyone here on this, and they give you the WRONG advice, you could loose your property and investment.
Save yourself the grief, get a lawyer.
