Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Worldwide, James Cameron's Lightstorm Ent. and 20th Century Fox have made a deal to create AVATAR rides at Disney theme parks, reports Variety. The first will come to Walt Disney World's Orlando-based Animal Kingdom. Ground breaking on the new attraction will start in 2013. Lightstorm's Cameron and Jon Landau will team with Walt Disney Imagineering as creative consultants on the projects.
