Get ready! James Gunn recently took to Threads to reveal a teaser image of David Corenswet suiting up for the first time in Superman. The upcoming origin film will officially kick off the new DCU Gods and Monsters chapter.
Gunn later added on Threads that the photo “was taken on set by Jess Miglio and was entirely in-camera.” Talk about an immersive filming experience!
The film, which follows a younger version of the Man of Steel, is helmed and penned by Gunn. Corenswet stars as Clark Kent alongside Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Isabela Mered as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and Wendell Pierce as Perry White.
DC Studios Co-CEO Peter Safran produces. No word yet on who will handle the extraterrestrial VFX.
