Lynn Stepanian has been named Senior Vice President, Acquisitions and Scheduling for ABC Family.

Lynn Stepanian has been named senior vice president, acquisitions and scheduling for ABC Family. In her new role, Stepanian will report to reporting to ABC Family president Michael Riley. She joins the network with 25 years experience in program planning, scheduling and acquisitions, most recently as Vice President, Strategy, Acquisitions and Scheduling for the TV Guide Network.
In her new position, Stepanian will be responsible for all off-network series and feature acquisitions as well as overseeing the strategic scheduling of all on-air linear content and long-form video for ABC Family. Additionally, she will execute and schedule all event programming, stunts and manage program inventory as well as participate in long term program planning for ABC Family.

Prior to TV Guide Network, Stepanian served as a key member of The CW Network as Senior Vice President of Programming and Distribution for The CW Plus. During her tenure, she led all aspects of program acquisitions and scheduling, affiliate relations, cable negotiations, research and technical operations for the group’s 111 stations. Previously, she served in the same capacity for The WB 100+ Station Group from its inception in 1998 through 2006.
Stepanian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara and attended the University of Madrid in Spain in their School of Philosophy and Letters.
