Two blockbuster special editions are available on DVD November 26, 2002 and both feature some innovative CG animation.
First up is MEN IN BLACK II, the long awaited sequel to the 1997 smash comedy. Stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are reunited for the sequel, which pits the Men in Black against an evil alien (Lara Flynn Boyle) who is out to destroy the universe. MEN IN BLACK II features visual effects by ILM, Tippett Studios and Rhythm & Hues. The 2-disc Special Edition DVD includes a never-before-seen alternate ending and featurettes on the production of the film and the alien effects. Plus, commentary by director Barry Sonnenfeld, music videos from star Will Smith and everyone's favorite -- bloopers! The DVD also contains Sony Picture Imageworks' first CG animated short: THE CHUBBCHUBBS. The misfit trio of prehistoric pals in Fox's ICE AGE also come to DVD in a 2-disc special edition.
