Cyper Ent Consolidates Name, Splits Stock, Adds Ani Vet & Partner

Dae Joong Kim, a veteran animation director for 36 years, has joined Cyper Entertainment Inc., subsidiary of JRE Inc., based in Seoul, Korea. Considered one of the top OEM animation directors in Korea, he has worked on many different animated TV shows such as SUPER MARIO, FUTURE BOY CONAN, CAPTAIN HARLOCK, GALAXY EXPRESS 999 AND NADIA, among others.

"Mr. Kim is a valued addition to our team as we prepare for several large film and television productions. We are excited to have him in our service," said Duk Jim Jang, president of JRE.

Cyper is a 3D digital animation production company with its own proprietary productions and provides services to the television, commercial and film industries globally. The company develops and produces 3D digital animation for television, short films, CGI feature films, music videos and multi-media applications such as videogames. It was acquired by JRE on July 11, 2003.

JRE, Inc. further intends to change its name to Cyper Media, Inc. (www.cypermedia.com) and is consolidating the management of the two companies. The company recorded a 2 for 1 forward split on August 21, 2003, mailed on August 22, 2003.

In further developments, Cyber has joined with new animation partner Joongang Movie Entertainment Co., Ltd. to co-venture on several animation productions as well as co-market current and future projects.

Joongang has been in the 2D animation field for 13 years. The studio has worked on more than 60 different OEM Japanese TV shows such as DRAGON BALL, POKÉMON, GUNDAM, COWBOY BEBOP and NEON GENESIS EVANGELION.
